how about this gauge cluster... why not make them this way from the factory? it's what the racers wanted, and isn't it what a sports car owner wants too?

Anyone know about this unusual speedometer? With a clock on the inside... I don't recall ever seeing a 70mph speedometer before in a sports car, ditto ever seeing a speedometer with a clock in it. I've seen tachs and clock combos... anyway, odd gauge, if you know what the info on it is, please share. jbohjkl@yahoo.com

cool little light to illuminate the car number
 Patina on the lettering.

Below is what another of the trio looked like. Thought you'd like to compare them.
just this last photo from http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z9082/Chevrolet-Corvette-LeMans-Racer.aspx

GT 350H in the less common blue and gold color palette

the most common colors are black and gold, but they also were like this blue or red in the last months of production. http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2006/12/shelby-gt-350h.html for more info

it's not easy to read, it says " This vehicle is equipped with competition brakes, heavier than normal brake pedal pressure may be required"

Zagato, a variety of coachbuilt tags they've used, all found while at the Graystone Mansion Concours

Sorry the above is so small... I forgot to take a closer up photo

pretty cool, each design, and odd that they had revised any of them. They all are good looking.

The Corvette row was long and had a remarkable number of Vettes.. more than the Porsche or Mercedes owners rows

grand looking Chrysler, I'd feel like a million bucks driving this

1939 Chrysler Imperial

the above interior shot worked out well, and the below radio shot shows the radio stations from WAAYYY back in the 40's. KFI is still on the air, or it sounds really familiar. The others I haven't heard of

 great matching luggage and radio

 Cool windshield design
