Ferrari 458 Italia Emozione Tuned by Evolution 2 Motorsport

Inspired by its race-prepped Ferrari 458 Italias, Evolution 2 Motorsport (E2M) thought it would give the road-going model a go with the presentation of its "Emozione" tuning program.

The Ferrari 458 Italia Emozione is finished in a two-tone blue and silver paintwork and features a new front splitter, mirror caps, chrome look air duct mesh and trim, a rear spoiler, a double rear lower diffuser at the back, and custom made 21-inch alloy wheels. In addition, the engine bay is trimmed in carbon fiber.

Novitec Rosso's Performance Outfit for the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider

Revealed for the first time in public at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the 458 Italia Spider comes with a folding hard-top and a 570hp 4.5-liter V8 coupled to a dual-clutch F1 transmission that propels the car to 100 km/h (62 mph) time in 3.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 320 km/h (200 mph).

Novitec Rosso's engine tune consists of a custom exhaust system said to weigh 21kg (46 pounds) less than the factory exhaust, a carbon-fiber air box with modified air routing and of course, a software upgrade.

These modifications bump output to 601hp (609PS) at 9,100rpm and maximum torque to 569 Nm (420 lb-ft) at 5,400 rpm, with the German tuner claiming a top speed of 325km/h (202mph).

Another Ferrari 458 Italia Goes Down, this Time in Poland

The relentless slaughtering of exotic Italian sports cars continues with a fairly new Ferrari 458 Italia that fell victim to the perfect storm: some careless driving mixed with rain and a roundabout. The accident took place in the city of Świdnica in southwestern Poland on Thursday night.

The local media reported that the owner of the 458 Italia was fined 200 złoty (€48 or US$63) for reckless driving, which is a drop in the ocean for the damages that the €300,000 (US$400,000) sports car sustained from the crash.

Ferrari Dresses up 458 Italia in a Chinese Costume for its 20th Anniversary in the Country

Western automakers and Chinese market special editions go hand in hand these days. The latest company to ready a dedicated model for the world's most populous country is Ferrari, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in China with a limited production version of the 458 Italia.

Only 20 examples of the 458 Italia Special Edition will be built exclusively for China. The car's most prominent feature is the exterior livery said to be inspired from the longma theme, which is an old Chinese idiom that means “the vigor and spirit of the legendary dragon-horse”.
