Most bicycles are equipped with a skinny bell that will barely get you any attention in today's congested and noisy cities.

If you feel the same way, say hello to the Hornster bicycle that features a horn that emits a jaw dropping 178 decibels, which if used in full force, could deafen a motorist, as it is said to be louder than a Concorde!

The Hornster is the creative idea of Yannick Read on behalf of the UK’s Environmental Transport Association (ETA), which wanted to raise awareness about the dangers that cyclists face on city roads.

Japanese Owner Finds Lost Harley Davidson from 2011 Tsunami Washed Out on Canadian Beach!

What are the odds of finding a motorcycle that was washed away during the horrific tsunami that hit Japan's northeast coasts on March 2011? Near impossible, you say? You are probably right, yet that "one in a million" chance happened to a Japanese man who lost his Harley-Davidson motorcycle more than a year ago.

The bike turned up in a makeshift container some 5,000 kilometers (3,100 miles) across the Pacific Ocean on a Canadian beach!

On April 18, 2012, Peter Mark from Canada was riding his ATV, exploring an isolated beach in British Columbia's Graham Island when he came across an open white trailer that had washed out from sea

Upon closer inspection, Mark saw a rusted motorcycle with Japanese license plates along with a few more objects such as golf clubs, tools and camping equipment lying around in the container.

"The door was ripped off it and I could see a motorcycle tire sticking out," he told CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Cooperation). "So I went closer and looked inside and saw a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It defies all logic. I cannot for the life of me figure out how that stuff stayed in there. The motorcycle was not strapped down. Everything was just laying loose on the bottom of the floor."

Video of the Day: Chinese Soccer Mom

According to the all-knowing Wikipedia, the term soccer mom "broadly refers to a middle-class woman who spends a significant amount of her time transporting her school-age children to their sporting events or other activities" in a minivan or an SUV, preferably a full-size model.

In some less fortune parts of the world where buying any type of car is out of the question for many people, the alternative is far more dangerous, though it seems to get the job done in moving around a small school of kids. Watch the clip right after the jump.

Gone with the Wind: Scooter Rider Edition

The vast majority of bikers involved in an accident, no matter how small it may appear to be, will at least sit down to take a breath even if they are not hurt, but not this scooter rider who crashed into the side of a Toyota Camry while attempting to cross through a road without paying attention.

The man literally spun around himself almost touching the ground and immediately left the scene running towards the same direction he was heading with the scooter!

BMW Group Unveils its London 2012 Olympic Games Car, Motorcycle and Bicycle Fleet

As the official automotive partner of this summer's 2012 London Olympic Games, the BMW Group will provide organizers with a fleet of more than 3,000 cars and bikes that will be used for a variety of purposes from pulling boats out of the water to transporting judges, event directors and Games officials.

Today, the German company became more specific about its Olympic Games fleet that consists of low-emission, diesel, hybrid and electric cars, motorcycles and bicycles.

Racing Lawnmower Crash: Gee, that Was Unexpected...

Holding on to a contraption that looks like a shopping cart powered by a lawnmower engine of some sorts sounds fun until you...end up imprinting your face on a concrete wall. At least both the driver of lawnmower racer and the stand-up commuter had some common sense to wear helmets before heading out to try their machine.

ATV Versus Cow, Guess Who Loses…

Argentinian cross-country champion Lucas Bonetto who finished in seventh place in the quads category at the 2012 Dakar Rally had an unfortunate encounter with a…cow while riding his all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on a dirt road.

The 21-year old rider captured the crash with the large animal on video through his head-mounted camera. Luckily, Bonetto says he didn't suffer any injuries. As for the cow, we can't say as it seems to have fled the scene right after the accident...

Audi Makes Ducati Purchase Official

Confirming earlier reports, Audi officially announced today that it has sealed a deal to acquire Italian sports motorcycle manufacture Ducati. The German company said that the transaction will be completed "as quickly as possible" once authorized by the competition authorities.

The brand with the four-rings did not say how much it cost to buy Ducati from its previous owner Investindustrial SpA, though sources stated on Tuesday that the Germans paid approximately €860 million or US$1.13 billion.
