Meanwhile in Russia, Workers Try to Remove Zebra Stripes on Crosswalk

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Rabu, 09 Mei 2012 | 07.58

Either Russians found a sound way to tackle unemployment in the country or there is something else going that we are not aware of in the video that was sent to us by Carscoop tipster Amal G.

What we see here is a crew of Russian workers using axes to chip away the painted lines on a crosswalk. Here's hoping that we will have another video in our hands in a few months' time from now to show you their progress.

Audi R8 Drifts, Smashes Into Lada Rolling it Over, then Runs Away from the Scene

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Sabtu, 05 Mei 2012 | 12.10

There seems to be no end in sight to the crazy stories from the wild, wild East that is Russia's roads. Today, one of our readers tipped us off about this footage showing an Audi R8 making a very quick U-turn on a central road, somewhere in Russia.

For a couple of seconds, all seems to be going well but as the German sports car enters the straight it smashes onto the side of what looks like an older Lada Samara, knocking the Russian sedan over.

While we see people running to help the driver of the green sedan, the R8 coupe makes a run for it passing a red light in the process.

Throwing Yourself in Front of a Car Can Prove Hazardous for Your Health in Russia

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Jumat, 04 Mei 2012 | 11.54

You cannot even commit suicide in Russia these days without getting your arse whooped, though to be honest, the jury is still out on whether the man seen in this video was attempting to end his life or if he was trying to pull an insurance fraud.

Whatever the case, the driver of the vehicle was in no mood for games and beat the living daylights out of the man seconds before the police arrived – which is a strange coincidence in itself.

Surprisingly, the man in the car drove off as if nothing had happened. Watch the dashcam footage in the video after the break.

Watch a 500hp Ram SRT-10 Carrying a Life-Size Plastic Cow Race a Range Rover, X6M and ML63

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Selasa, 01 Mei 2012 | 12.25

As it turns out, adding a real life-size plastic cow to the bed of a Dodge Ram SRT-10 will not help you win a race, at least not one where speed is the operative parameter, but it will help you stand out from the crowd.

The cow-equipped SRT-10 featuring the Viper's 8.3-liter V10 engine with 500-horsepower went up against a Range Rover Sport Supercharged GT600 producing 600 ponies, followed by a stock Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG with 510-horses and a BMW X6M Evotech Stage 2 rated at 630hp.

There's a video just after the break for your enjoyment.

Gone with the Wind: Scooter Rider Edition

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Senin, 30 April 2012 | 13.02

The vast majority of bikers involved in an accident, no matter how small it may appear to be, will at least sit down to take a breath even if they are not hurt, but not this scooter rider who crashed into the side of a Toyota Camry while attempting to cross through a road without paying attention.

The man literally spun around himself almost touching the ground and immediately left the scene running towards the same direction he was heading with the scooter!

If you have any idea what just went on here, feel free to enlighten (or humor) us in the comments section that follows below the video.

Unbelievable! Sewage Cover Sends Land Rover Freelander Into a Flying Somersault

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Kamis, 26 April 2012 | 18.24

Imagine driving on a quiet street at low speeds when of all a sudden, without any warning or another car involved, your vehicle goes flying into the air.

Crazy as it may sound, this is what happened to a driver of a Land Rover Freelander earlier today in the Russian resort city of Sochi, which by the way, will host the 2014 Olympics Winter Games…

If you watch the first video that was shot from a dash mounted camera on a following vehicle (don't take into consideration the date, it's wrong), you'll be inclined to believe that the SUV fell into an uncovered sewage hole on the road causing it to flip over.

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Senin, 23 April 2012 | 12.31

Being alert and careful behind the steering wheel at all times can certainly save a life when you least expect it, as the woman driving the silver Mercedes-Benz coupe in this video proved.

We cannot say for sure if the public worker in the orange vest tripped or if he suffered some sort of medical emergency when he fell, but the woman's lightning response is the reason he lived another day to tell the tale.

Jump past the break for the video clip.

It's a Bad Idea to Not Look when You're Crossing the Road…

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Minggu, 22 April 2012 | 09.11

Regardless of who has the right of way, it is very important for both pedestrians and motorists to be watchful at all times. In this occasion, while the ambulance was definitely speeding, on the other hand, the woman didn't even look before she tried to cross the road.

Lucky for her, the ambulance driver saw her at the last second and managed to bring the van to a twisty stop only inches away from the woman. Head past the break to watch the video.

Wow! Follows Oh No! Nissan Skyline Boost Fail

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Rabu, 18 April 2012 | 13.45

Any Nissan Skyline that is or is dressed up to look like a GT-R is bound to capture the attention of any gearhead on the road.

Perhaps the passenger of the vehicle with the dashboard camera gave this souped-up Skyline sedan the evil eye or something of the sorts, because as soon the Japanese model passed by and the driver pressed on the gas pedal, he lost control of the vehicle giving the undercarriage an unwanted makeover.

Slide over the break to watch the video.

Moscow Man Tries to Drive Nissan Through a Train Crossing for Pedestrians…

Today, your daily dose of Russian madness comes courtesy of a stubborn driver of a Nissan Teana sedan (loosely related to the older generation Maxima) who for some reason was hell bent to drive over a pedestrian crossing on a train track in Moscow.

Not surprisingly, the car got stuck on the train tracks and being front wheel drive, he couldn't pedal his way out of this situation. Some by-passers quickly came out to help push the Teana back but as soon as they heard the train approaching they left him to watch the disaster that was bound to happen.

Written By Ishimaru Kaito on Rabu, 11 April 2012 | 10.15

Hop over the break to watch the video.
